QMJHL veteran Jonathan Bonneau added to Tommies roster

The Tommies have added another CHL veteran player to the line-up for 2011-12.  Jonathan Bonneau, who  most recently played for the Chicoutimi Saqueneens, will add some spark on left wing this year for STU.

Bonneau was drafted 4th overall in the 2007 QMJHL entry draft by the Victoriaville Tigres, where he played for 2.5 seasons before being traded to PEI.  In his overage year he was traded 2 times, first from PEI to Rouyn-Noranda, then to Chicoutimi.  His point production improved every year in junior hockey with totals of 24, 31, 37, and 42 points respectively in his four year junior stint.

Jonathan should be a good addition to the front lines with good size and skills to boot.  Welcome Jonathan.

Coach Ryan et al are to be complimented for their quality recruits so far given the late start,it certainly speaks to the enthusiasm and dedication that the NEW COACHING team has brought to the table.
For those who may not have realized,it was Troy Ryan who out recruited STU previously by landing any number of quality MJHL players at Acadia and I would suggest that it will continue for STU,in addition Eric Bissonnette's connections with the "Q" will continue to pay off and for those who do not know it was Eric who " birddogged" Yannick Tremblay who after leaving STU had a lengthy career in the NHL,soooooooo all said, the better days ahead have already started and TOMMIES NATION should return to the rink in support of this change.........GO TOMMIES GO!
