Lady Tommies add two more players. Exhibition schedule unveiled.

Coach Peter Murphy has added two more pieces to the 2011-12 St. Thomas Tommies women's hockey team.

Manuela (Manny) Hebel will be attending St. Thomas this fall after playing in the Western Women's Hockey League last year for the Edmonton Chimos. She is originally from Mannheim, Germany and wanted to improve her hockey skills in Canada. Manny is a speedy forward who will bring a little extra jump to the offensive attack. WWHL Link

Paige MacDonald from Antigonish, NS comes to STU via our farm club at UNB. Paige played for the UNB Red Blazers club team last year and won the championship with them. She is a smooth skating defenseman with a good first pass. She really stood out in the Maritime Intercollegiate Women’s Hockey League, as her skill level was well above club status. Coach Murphy expects her to help solidify this year's defense.
