McGill unloads on Moncton

The McGill Martlets, prior to puck drop in game 5.
In game 5 of the CIS Women's Hockey Nationals hosted by St. Thomas University, the U de M Aigles Bleues scored the first and last goals but the McGill Marlets sandwiched all of their goals in-between and rolled to an impressive 8 to 2 victory.

Gabrielle Davidson led the way for the Marlets scoring 2 goals and 2 assists while net-minder Taylor Hough stayed focused, facing only 13 shots.  McGill dominated most of the game and chased U de M starting goaltender Gabrielle Forget in the first period after she gave up 4 goals.  Backup Emilie Bouchard came in and after she allowed the next 4 goals in 30 minutes of ice, was replaced by Forget, who ended the game in net for Les Aigles.  BOX SCORE

Tonight the #1 Montreal Carabins take on our St. Thomas Tommies in game 6.  If you read this in time come out to be the 7th man on the ice for our Tommies.  Game time is 7PM.
