The Tommies pulled out their first win of the season tonight despite a
lacklustre 3rd period. Mathieu Betournay scored a power play goal at
10:11 to make it 2-1. Charles Lavigne held the fort for STU and Tyler
Dietrich cashed in for his second at 16:19. Jason Cassidy sealed the
win with an empth netter at 19:11. The Tommies got a bit lazy in their
own end and Guillaume Parenteau was able to narrow the gap to 4-2 but
too little, too late for Moncton.
Thanks for tuning in. Join us tomorrow live from Charlottetown at 7pm.
all in all, we got the deuce in a tough rink to start the season, extending our win streak over UdeM in meaningful play to 2. And we play a depeleated UPEI team who got shellacked by UNB 10-0. Anyone realize its our first opening night win since 06-07?
