#2 Player Of The Past 4 Years

On this "great" day in Fredericton, the weather is nice, the birds are chirping, UNB won another national championship when they couldn't close the deal on their own conference championship, and its time to relive some STU memories with more great players!

#2- #91 Justin Bowers

Justin to my recollection was the most highly touted prospect that STU ever got. Justin used all of the ice he had and was good at getting to open ice to score many of the goals and ending up being on the top line pretty much since Game #1. I had a feeling that JB was like another highly touted Junior A forward by the name of Brent Varty. Varty lit the lamp with the Wellington Dukes of the OHA and JB lit it up with Woodstock. But I could not have been more wrong since Justin was a dominant force offensively and was responsible at his own end. It is great to see Justin playing well for Quad City of the AHL and we could have another Darryl Boyce of a player jumping from the AUS to the NHL. JB's stats are 29 goals, 39 assists, 68 points and 56 pim in 2 seasons.
