The Acadia Axemen scored three goals in the first period and five goals in the second en route to an 8 to 3 victory over the Tommies.
Steve Sanza and Randy Cameron both had a goal and assist while Yuri Cheremetiev picked up the other STU tally. Matt Bissonnette and Jonathan Bonneau each picked up an assist.
Jon Groenheyde allowed three goals during his 13:59 of play and Alex St-Arnaud was tagged with five goals in 46:01.
STU returns home next Friday night and take on the Varsity Reds at the GHC before heading to PEI for a Saturday night tilt against the Panthers.
