In-spite of a disappointing 5 to 4 overtime loss to the Saint Mary's Huskies yesterday afternoon, the Tommies will get a chance to play for first place today in the U de M Hockey tournament going on in Moncton. Yesterday's games saw MT. Allison defeat Dalhousie 5 to 3 and Moncton down UPEI 6 to 5 in OT. Therefore DAL, MTA, SMU, and STU finish with one and one records but only St. Thomas' loss was in overtime. It was the deciding factor and enough to push STU through to the finals.
The Tommies will take on the undefeated U de M at 3:00 PM this afternoon. With five goals in two games look for Kayla Blackmore to get named to the Tournament all-stars during the post game ceremonies. The game will be webcast and you can watch the action HERE. GO TOMMIES!!
