Playing NCAA teams is good for AUS

An interesting article from today's Daily Gleaner by Dave Ritchie.
St. Thomas Tommies' coach Mike Eagles, determined to rebound his program from a non-playoff season a year ago, is also looking south.

He echoes MacDougall's sentiments of the team-building aspect. "Players get to know one another when they're on the road and you want that heading into the season,'' says Eagles. "It's also about getting good competition early on.''
We also learn the date of this year's President cup game versus UNB.
